Car insurance firm to sponsor motor show
Car insurance providers Lloyds TSB have confirmed sponsorship of this year's new look British International Motor Show.
The prestigious event takes place between July 20th-30th 2006 at London's state-of-the-art ExCel exhibition centre and returns to the capital after several years being held in Birmingham. The motor insurance firm are said to have paid £1 million to back the event, and experts claim it is money well spent as multitudes of car lovers from far and wide are destined to attend.
The list of exhibitors already booked to attend is long, glamorous and far too extensive to list here, although a few eye-catching names that will be showing up include Brabus, Chevrolet, Rolls-Royce and TVR. More manufacturers are bound to add their names to the line-up as the show draws closer, and BMW are rumoured to be making a return after a six-year absence.
In addition to the production stands, the event will also include a 3,000-seat motor theatre featuring five shows every day, a 2.2km test track, an off-road course, music concerts and a driving school suitable for anyone who can reach the pedals of the training car. Visitors will also be able to peruse the various stalls and stands selling car parts, memorabilia and services such as driving holidays and cheap car insurance.
