Survey reveals huge extent of motoring offences on UK roads
The average British motorist risks their right to cheap car insurance by breaking the law 432 times every single year - simply by driving to work and back
The astonishing revelation came to light following a survey by motor insurance provider, Churchill, and amounts to a whopping 46 million broken laws each day.
Darren McCauley, Churchill Car Insurance's spokesman, said, "Our research shows that drivers could do with brushing up on their Highway Code or they are likely to get points or a fine if stopped by the police for many of the offences."
In addition to fines and penalty points, drivers committing motoring offences are also likely to lose their right to cheap car insurance deal.
