Consumers prefer eco-friendly products
Finding the cheapest car insurance may not be the thought at the front of drivers' minds anymore, according to research done by a motor insurance provider.
Instead, environmental worries are taking precedence, as more and more drivers opt for green products.
Co-operative Insurance (CIS) discovered that given the choice, 82% of British consumers would prefer to buy an eco-friendly product.
However, with the production of hybrid cars such as the Toyota Prius, it is becoming easier to be an eco-friendly motorist. An added bonus to buying hybrid cars is that they often have a favourable motor insurance group, meaning that consumers of green products get the cheapest car insurance deal.
