It seems that Britain's motorists are taking a safer attitude towards driving as research carried out by whatcar.com revealed that 63% of their readers have not been involved in an accident during the past five years. This bodes well for those attempting to keep their car insurance rates low.
Just 5% that took part in the survey by Britain's biggest car buyer's guide revealed that they had been involved in an accident in which there were any casualties. In addition, one third had been in an accident during the five past years where no-one was injured.
In their latest poll, whatcar are trying to determine how often their readers wear their seatbelts.
So far, it seems that the majority of readers (92% as of 20th July 2006) are concerned with road safety and keeping their motor insurance premiums low by always participating in wearing your seatbelts.
