Online car insurance provider offers new optional extra
An online car insurance provider is now offering an upgraded replacement car service as an optional extra for motor insurance customers.
Churchill Insurance, a firm which specialises in cheap car insurance, has expanded its range of extras to include a courtesy car of a similar size or type to the one that is insured.
This will allow parents to get a replacement car large enough to take the family comfortably, rather than being squashed into a smaller car when their own is off the road. This new option offers a range of vehicles that extends up to a five door estate so that customers can carry on with their everyday lives without the inconvenience of a different vehicle.
Francis Browning of Churchill Car Insurance said: "Having to go through the experience of a car accident and subsequently needing to drive a replacement car is traumatic and disrupting enough - especially for motorists such as parents or salesmen who rely on their car to survive their daily routines.
"We are giving our customers the option that if they must have a car that matches their lifestyle, then we are able to provide it causing the minimum disruption to them as possible."
This enhanced replacement car service comes at a price of £25.20 on top of Churchill's usual cheap car insurance premium.
However, Churchill is not alone in offering this service. Some companies, such as duck2water Car Insurance Services, are already offering a free replacement car of a similar type as standard in all online car insurance policies.
