Driver could face paying expensive online car insurance

A man from Bolton appeared in court on Tuesday charged with driving offences after two girls were hurt in a road accident.

David Booth, 20, of Lancashire, appeared before Bolton Magistrates' Court faced with charges connected to a vehicle accident that happened on Monday injuring two girls. Fortunately, there were no more vehicles involved in the crash and so no other drivers have had to risk their cheap car insurance.

The girls, aged five and seven, were taken to hospital with serious personal injuries after being hit by a car on Torrington Avenue.

The five-year-old was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital with a suspected broken femur while the seven-year-old was taken to Booth Hall Children's Hospital with a suspected bruised lung and kidney damage.

If Booth is possibly convicted for the offences of the car crash, he could risk missing out on cheap online car insurance in the future.

Booth was released on conditional bail and will return to the courts on August 22.

Corrine Aldous, spokeswoman for Duck2Water Car Insurance Services, the expert cheap car insurance provider said, "Any driver who could be convicted of an offence will find it very difficult get cheap car insurance in the future."
