Speeding motorists could lose cheap motor insurance quotes
A group of speed camera vigilantes are causing hundreds of thousands of pounds in damage in East Lancashire.
Any driver who finds themselves hit with a fine and has three points added to their licence could find it difficult to get a cheap motor insurance quote in the future.
For one group of people in East Lancashire who go by the name of Motorists Against Detection, enough is enough and they have taken to destroying speed cameras in the area.
MAD has already taken responsibility for one the damaged speed cameras in Burnley Road and are suspected of the latest attack in Rochdale Road, in Bacup, where a petrol bomb destroyed the camera.
According to reports, MAD has already promised that more cameras will be targeted in East Lancashire.
Motorists who are caught speeding could risk losing their cheap car insurance if they have points added to their license. In the future they may have to shop around for the best motor insurance quotes to avoid paying expensive premiums.
