Privilege Car Insurance warns of car accident hotspot

Privilege Car Insurance this time last year handled its highest volume of car insurance claims, with over two and a half times the average number of customers contacting the company.

This was due to severe weather across the UK , and with similar conditions forecast for the next week Privilege Insurance is expecting another surge in car insurance claims.

As such, it is reminding its car insurance customers to follow some simple steps when making car insurance claims.

Privilege Insurance managing director, Ian Parker said: "Car insurance accidents can occur no matter how safe a driver you are, so it makes sense to have a simple procedure to follow should the worst happen."

He added: "By remembering the key details to take at the scene of the car insurance accident, motorists can save time and stress when making a claim during what is a busy time for insurers."

To speed up the claims process, Privilege Insurance advises that accident victims gain the names, addresses and telephone numbers of any other drivers involved in the car insurance accident.

Among other things vehicle registration numbers are required, as is the name of the driver's insurance company and their policy number.

Most importantly, Privilege reminds drivers not to admit that the car insurance accident was their fault.
