The Mark VII was released soon afterwards and became a huge export for Jaguar. Americans loved the large, luxurious car and just a few months after launch, Jaguar had received orders for it to the tune of $30 million.

The E-type Jaguar was introduced in 1961 and enjoyed considerable popularity until production was stopped some 13 years later. The public loved this car with its mix of pace, style and elegance.

Over the past 30 years, Jaguar has continued to build a reputation for building luxurious, powerful machines with a distinctive shape and styling. The phrase "stronger, faster, safer, smarter" is used to describe the newest XJ creation by Jaguar.
