Swinton Group to offer online and offline motor insurance quotes
Swinton Group is offering making it even easier for customers to get a motor insurance quote by merging with an online car insurance broker.
Swinton, a high street-based motor insurance company, is to merge with Its4me plc. Both companies were already controlled by parent business MMA but have now been officially linked.
This arrangement will not mean any changes to how Its4me operates, as it will continue to provide online motor insurance quotes from its base in Norwich.
Patrick Smith, chief executive of Swinton and Its4me, said: "It makes great sense for these two businesses to merge. It allows the group to allow a fully integrated online and offline service to our customers."
