Cheap car insurance unlikely prospect for young driver from Kent

A young driver will be facing many years without cheap car insurance if he is found guilty of several motor offences.

The 17-year-old was arrested by Bromley Police on suspicion of the robbery of a motor vehicle and its contents after apparently jumping into a woman's Skoda as she got out.

He was also charged with robbery, but has had the charges reduced to taking a motor vehicle and its contents without consent.

He also faces charges of driving a Skoda without motor insurance or a licence, as well as the same charges over a similar incident with a Citroen.

The Kent man has been bailed until he is due to appear again at Bromley Magistrates' Court on February 27th 2007.

Cheap car insurance for young drivers isn't the easiest thing to obtain, but finding any good deals on motor insurance is going to be a struggle for this man if he is convicted.
