iPhone app to help motorists at scene of car crash
Ensuring you continue to get the cheapest car insurance may be made easier by a new car insurance application for Apple's iPhone.
The innovative new application gives motorists step-by-step advice on what to do when they suffer a car accident.
Those involved in a car crash will be prompted to take witness information, take photos of the site and post details of their location via GPS. This data can then be sent to an email address of the policy holder's choice.
This could help speed up the insurance claim process as car accident victims will have the necessary evidence to help make a car insurance claim.
Mark Christer, managing director for the provider, said, "A car accident is a traumatic experience and it's easy for drivers to forget what information they need to gather from the scene."
With prompts to ensure the necessary information is taken at the scene of the accident, this application could help motorists prove an accident was not their fault therefore ensuring they hold on to their cheapest car insurance quote.
