Ford RS Owners Club
The first of the Ford RS (Rallye Sport) cars was produced way back in 1970, a type of Escort called the RS1600. As you may be able to deduce from the name, it was designed as a performance car that could win rallies and races - and win rallies and races it did! From the 1972 East African Safari rally to the 1974 Touring Car Championship as well as many, many more, the Ford RS1600 triumphed.

The success of the RS1600 prompted a whole range of other RS models, including many more Escorts, several Sierras and a couple of Capris and Fiestas. The Ford RS Owners Club has an impressive membership of more than 7,000 people, many of whom own one of these RS models. The club meets regularly throughout the year and at locations throughout the UK, with the biggest event coming in August - the Ford RS Owners Club National Day. In 2007, the event is being held at Rockingham and promises to offer all kinds of Ford-related fun for all the family.

Ford Focus Owners Club
The Ford Focus hit the UK roads in 1998 and took the country by storm, fast becoming the UK's best-selling car. Its success has been mirrored worldwide and in 2001 and 2002 was found to be the best-selling car in the world. It has been showered with praise for its design, winning the 1999 Car of the Year award and being named a Millennium Product. The Focus underwent a few updates and changes in 2005, but its success has continued and in 2007, still shows no signs of abating.

The Ford Focus Owners Club was set up in 2001 and welcomes everyone who loves their Focus, be it a Mk1 or Mk2, or one of the special performance versions of these. The National Day of the Ford Focus Owners Club falls in September and in 2007 it is being marked by a huge event at Billing Aquadrome.

Fordsport
Fordsport is a club that doesn't just focus on any of the particular models, but instead celebrates all performance Fords. It was founded in 2001 after a few enthusiasts got together and wanted to share their passion for Fords with other Ford fans, regardless of the specific model that they own. Club membership grew over the years as more performance Ford owners got to hear about Fordsport, and it now stands at more than 300.

The club organises regional events for its members to meet up and show off their cars at locations such as the York raceway, where drivers can show off their drag skills in their performance Fords. Everyone is welcome at the meets, which provide the perfect opportunity to get together with other Ford enthusiasts and see all kinds of Fords.
