AMEX warns of small print differences in motor insurance quotes

American Express Insurance Services is advising drivers to be careful to look at the small print when comparing motor insurance quotes.

The financial services giant points out that the small print can vary dramatically between car insurance policies and drivers should be aware of these differences when choosing which motor insurance quote is the best value.

The American Express Insurance Services marketing manager also explained that motorists could get added value with their insurance policies.

She said: "Drivers will find that whether our policies are bought for brand new cars or slightly older models, many of the optional features come as standard with our motor insurance."

Policies bought through American Express include up to 70% no claims discount and 90 days of European cover, as well as a courtesy car if yours goes in for repairs.
