Cheapest car insurance hard to find in car crash city
If you're looking for the cheapest car insurance, it may be best to avoid Birmingham and in fact the whole of the Midlands area. A report has found that Birmingham is the city most prone to car accidents with 1 in 5 drivers having been involved in a collision and a fifth of all drivers have damaged their cars in the Midlands area.
Broad Street in the city centre, Soho Road and the Aston Expressway were the locations where drivers were most likely to experience a bump according to More Th>n car insurance.
As well as being an accident hotspot, the report revealed that motorists were unhappy with the lack of parking, the maddening one-way systems and the daily congestion which made 75% of motorists' blood boil.
Two-thirds of those questioned said they hated driving around their home towns and 1 in 10 drivers had been involved in a crash near their home with men more likely to have an accident then women. With such high accident rates diminishing chances of finding the cheapest car insurance, it may be safer and cheaper to catch the train rather than drive around Birmingham.
