Police warn BMW car insurance customers

BMW car insurance customers have been warned by police to be vigilant of thieves operating in Arun, Littlehampton.

According to police, thieves stole a BMW 3 series the same night they tried to hot wire two other BMWs.

Sgt Peter Allen, of Littlehampton Police, said: "We are warning owners of older style 3 series BMW's to take extra security measures following the theft, and attempted theft, of such vehicles across West Downs Division last week.

"We are asking members of the public to keep a look out for a black BMW, index M271 KVR, and report any sightings of it to the police."

A spokesperson for Duck2Water Car Insurance Services, the experts in cheap car insurance, said: "It's always worrying for any motorist to hear that thieves are operating in their residential area. In this case it is of much more concern to BMW car insurance customers."
