Drivers could make major savings on car insurance
People who have cut back their spending on luxury items have been told that they could make big savings by switching to a cheap car insurance provider. Leading price comparison website, Gocompare.com, claims that it is possible to save masses of money by obtaining the best deals on car and property insurance.
John Miles, Business Development Director at Gocompare.com, said, "Ten minutes spent comparing your car insurance, home insurance and energy deal could save you more than enough to pay for several trips to your favourite restaurants.
"If you're not comparing your financial products you may be cutting back on the things you like just to pay for the things you don't."
A large proportion of British people realise the need to make spending cuts when they find themselves in financial hardship.
However, 27% of respondents to a recent insurance survey said that they hadn't switched providers during the last year. A further 6% said that they hadn't bothered to keep tabs on their financial products after they'd been arranged.
Those individuals who have access to the internet will find it extremely easy to obtain an inexpensive car insurance quote.
Most insurers do not offer great incentives to loyal customers. However, many will offer cheap car insurance as part of an introductory scheme.
