New vehicle buyers encouraged to look for affordable insurance

It has recently been reported that many men are more interested in purchasing new vehicles, and presumably the subsequent requirement of car insurance, than finding love.

Netcars.com, a website specialising in the selling of used cars, discovered that 5% of people had spent longer pondering which vehicles to buy than they had in seeking romance.

While some men are eager to find vehicles for which it is possible to obtain cheap car insurance, others are concerned with engine performance and handling ability.

Such factors are thought more important by a significant minority of males than the names which they are to give their children and the area in which they will live.

The Marketing Director of Netcars.com, said, "We conducted our survey because we were keen to establish just how important car purchasing was for our customers.

"I have to admit we were very surprised by the results; who would have thought that people would spend more time looking for a new car than they did for a wife? Or that buying a car was more important than giving your child a name?"

In related news, prospective vehicle buyers who are keen to keep their costs to a minimum have been advised to search for motors which fall into a low car insurance category and have a high Euro NCAP rating. They have also been reminded that it is possible to pick up some excellent deals online.
