AA offers course to help established drivers
Even after having passed their driving tests there are still plenty of UK motorists who could face an expensive car insurance quote because of their poor driving habits. The AA is aiming to do something about this by offering 2,000 courses designed to improve Britain's dangerous drivers' road safety.
A Channel 5 TV programme called Dangerous Drivers' School shows a team of well-trained AA driving instructors who have to face some of the worst drivers in the country.
It is, of course, not only those on the programme who can benefit from the AA with advantages such as cheap car insurance and keeping points from their licence. Any nervous drivers can profit from the expert advice which is on offer with the choice of 2,000 Drive Confident and Drive Smart courses available.
Some of the main areas the courses focus on are motorway and flyover phobias, speeding, parking, as well as motorists who drive too slowly.
The AA's president stated, "Our research at AA Research shows that millions of qualified drivers think they lack the ability to pass a driving re-test, so we are really pleased to be able to offer these courses to them to help overcome their driving issues."
Having confidence behind the wheel is important for motorists, not just to keep the price of their car insurance quote from going up but for keeping themselves, as well as other road users, safe and avoiding any bad habits that may creep in.
