New smart-phone app benefits motorists' quotes

The government has growing concerns about the national cost of UK's compensation culture, and the knock-on effect of fraudulent claims means a higher car insurance quote for many motorists.

In order to combat this problem the government recently banned personal injury referral fees, but now it is also introducing a smart-phone app known as iAccident which allows honest potential claimants to get all the information they need at the scene of an accident as well as protect themselves against fraudsters.

This should appease drivers worrying about their cheap car insurance prices increasing and appeal to everyone since the app has been designed to be as user-friendly as possible.

It contains GPS functionality which ensures that all the information is recorded accurately, and, crucially, all images and the location are stamped.

Users of the app can then submit their information online directly through their smart-phone. They are given the option of letting iAccident deal with the case or submitting the report to their own insurer or solicitor who may ask for an administrative fee.

Hopefully, this new technology will crack down on fraudsters who look to profit from honest motorists involved in staged accidents, and stop the rising price of car insurance quotes.
