Admiral shows the fun side of cheap car insurance
A cheap car insurance company has revealed how much fun selling motor insurance can actually be.
Admiral, which is based in Cardiff, has a policy of balancing fun and profit in the workplace.
The director of Admiral explained: "We really have a simple philosophy; that is, if people like what they do, they do it better. So why not go out of our way to make it fun?"
This entails lots of office games, a casual dress code, and prizes for selling cheap car insurance policies.
Whilst on breaks from on the motor insurance call centre, employees can also watch TV or play pool - or even eat the free fruit provided by Admiral.
However, the day-to-day perks of working for the famous cheap car insurance firm are nothing compared to lure of the free shares they receive.
Admiral has seen a remarkable increase in value since it was floated on the stock market in 2004, with shares having gone up from 275p to an impressive 1005p.
