Free breakdown assistance for cheap car insurance firm's customers

A cheap car insurance company has announced that it is offering free breakdown cover to all motor insurance customers.

More Than, which specialises in online motor insurance, conducted research which revealed that approximately 1.3 drivers go without because they believe it costs too much.

This has prompted the cheap car insurance firm to launch More Than Roadside Assistance. The standard package, which is usually worth £30, won't cost motor insurance customers anything at all. However, if they choose to upgrade the level of breakdown cover they will have to pay a price, although it is discounted.

The managing director of More Than, Mike Holliday-Williams, said: "At More Than we're always looking for ways we can do more to protect our customers.

"We know that a large number of motorists break down each year, so we wanted to make sure they can get help when they need it most."
