Taxi driver's cheap car insurance quotes may rise after collision
Finding cheap car insurance may have been made more difficult for a taxi driver since he was involved in a collision with a police car.
The incident occurred just before midnight in Basildon, Essex, and involved a Ford Focus and a white and orange taxi.
Reportedly, the police driver had his vehicle's flashing lights on and was travelling towards an emergency when the incident took place.
The police car rolled over on its side as a result of the collision and the fire service was required to help free both officers from the vehicle. The two police officers and the 26-year-old taxi driver had to be taken to hospital for medical treatment.
