BMW launches special cheap car insurance offer
The BMW Group has announced that it has teamed up with Eagle Star to provide cheap car insurance for BMW and MINI drivers.
The motor insurance policy will offer several BMW-specific features, including special repair centres.
BMW drivers who turn to a generic cheap car insurance company when their car needs repairs are unlikely to get their car looked at by a BMW-approved bodyshop. There are two main consequences of this. Firstly, their car may not be repaired to its original standard and secondly, the work may invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.
However, the special motor insurance cover will allow BMW owners to know their car will only be fitted with genuine BMW parts by specially-trained technicians. This ensures it really will be good as new when the repairs are complete and it will still be possible to claim on the BMW warranty if needs be.
