Vandalism targeted by cheap car insurance quote experts

Motorists looking for a cheap car insurance quote will be pleased to hear that Direct Line is now offering a new benefit to their policies which will cover vandalism.

Kick-starting the New Year with a review of their motor insurance policies, Direct Line has decided to introduce vandalism cover to protect their customers against keying, slashed tyres and graffiti.

According to recent findings, just under one-third of motorists who have had their vehicles targeted by vandals have reported the crime to the police.

A spokesman for the cheap car insurance quote experts said: "Unprovoked damage to your car is frustrating and distressing enough, without having the added worry of paying for the damage."

He also said that the new benefit "gives customers added protection at no extra cost and at no risk to their no-claims discount."
