Cheapest quotes not possible after pothole damage repairs
Users of a Welsh car park are fearful of losing their ability to find the cheapest car insurance possible because the council are refusing to repair pot holes in the town centre car parking facility.
One Llanrwst resident told North Wales Weekly News that the pay and display car park, found at the heart of the busy market town, is hardly used by shoppers as it is blighted by many, deep and dangerous pot holes and the parking lines are almost non-existent.
A local builder who complained to the council over two years ago, said, the car park looks like "a piece of waste land".
A Conwy Council spokesperson said, "A comprehensive survey of car parks was carried out in February. A further inspection was carried out last week and a number of pot holes were found in Watling Street so arrangements have been made for repairs."
A spokesperson for duck2water, said, "Extensive damage repairs claimed for on your policy could reduce your no-claims bonus.
"So, to ensure you are able to get the cheapest car insurance upon renewal, avoiding pot holes is a must."
