Limousine turns heads - for all the wrong reasons
For one Limousine company the cost of their Ford car insurance may just have exploded - literally (well, almost).
This is because one of their Ford cars reportedly burst into flames while parked outside a Tesco supermarket in Harrow. And if the Limo company had a no claims bonus on their Ford car insurance before the accident, they certainly won't now, as the luxury vehicle was completely destroyed by the inferno.
Even though police and ambulance services arrived quickly on the scene, no-one suffered injury in the freak incident, although many witnesses were said to be in shock.
One witness, a fifteen-year-old schoolgirl, commented, "First of all there was a little bit of smoke coming from the limo so me and my friends rushed off.
"As we got nearer the limo there was a loud bang and every one started screaming - then the fire just got bigger and bigger."
A second witness added, "There was another loud boom after the first one.
"The whole front half of the limo was on fire. You don't normally see this sort of thing in Harrow."
It is believed that the motor insurance company who provide the Limousine firm with their Ford car insurance cover have been informed that the fire started because on an electrical fault.
