Motor insurance company debates direct marketing agency
It is expected that the Royal Bank of Scotland will hand over the marketing for its Privilege Insurance brand to direct agency Personal.
Privilege Insurance, which specialises in cheap motor insurance quotes for drivers with maximum no claims discounts, has previously tendered out direct advertising business on a project by project basis.
However, the cheap car insurance company is planning to increase the amount of direct marketing it carries out and has decided to get one company to manage all this advertising.
This part of Privilege Insurance's marketing will work alongside the M&C Saatchi TV advertising campaign which gave rise to the "You don't have to be posh to be privileged" slogan.
A recent announcement from Privilege revealed that drivers who buy Privilege motor insurance quotes will receive additional benefits, including money off Virgin flights, Champney's health resorts and Orient Express trains, hotels and cruises.
