Motor broker 4 Insurance launches online car insurance comparison site

UK drivers can now search for and buy motor insurance policies through a new online car insurance search engine.

Motor broker 4 Insurance has launched http://www.motorinsurancesupermarket.com to provide British motorists with the ability to search for the cheapest car insurance quotes.

Drivers can then go on to purchase the most suitable policy for them via the site, which searches out quotes from insurers such as Zurich, Churchill and Norwich Union.

A spokesperson for the online car insurance site said: "The sole purpose of this new product is to find the most competitive and best quality insurance policy to meet customers' needs.

"We will be one of the UK's largest insurer comparison sites, with online and handling capabilities that are completely controlled and totally transparent."

The company revealed that it would have specialist information for specific sectors of the motoring population, such as those looking for women's car insurance or young driver car insurance.

The spokesperson highlighted the unique service that the online car insurance site would provide, saying: "We are the first insurance company to offer flexible online payments for customers.

"Once they have taken out the policy, customers can log onto the administration page and modify the payment day by up to 30 days.

"Also, we have included a unique breakdown cover with RAC. Normally, the cover would cost £140 but we have negotiated a price of £69 for full breakdown cover anywhere in Europe."

He also revealed that the company would be sticking to online car insurance and did not have any plans to provide any other kinds of cover.
