Very cheap car insurance for UK motorists who drive safely

In the UK some motorists complain that it is difficult to find very cheap car insurance but at least they can be happy in the knowledge that they are driving on some of the safest roads in the world.

On the country's road network in 2010, 2,222 people were killed. This might seem like a large number, but it is in fact the lowest number that the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has seen since records began.

The director of policy and research at IAM stated that the UK is now one of the top countries for the fewest number of car accident fatalities on the roads.

However, these credentials do not mean that road safety can become lax, but rather needs to be addressed more directly by the government to further improve these promising statistics.

The director of policy at IAM felt that car insurance policy holders could do with more direction by the Government in terms of driving safely.

Handing out on the spot fines for reckless drivers who are undertaking dangerous manoeuvres is one initiative the police will be taking to keeping our roads as safe as possible.

With some insurance companies offering their customers very cheap car insurance if they drive without incident, as well as the Government looking to place aid drivers on the roads, it looks as if the UK should continue to stay safe for a while to come and potentially see a reduction in car insurance quote costs too.
