Male car insurance holders attempt to impress girls
A new road safety report has revealed that men with insurance for cars are very likely to be distracted by an attractive passenger.
It is believed that men's one-tracked minds greatly affect their chances of being involved in crashes.
Some are prone to averting their eyes from the road for an extended period when ferrying a lady around, while others will opt against wearing a seatbelt.
The Transport Research Laboratory has raised further concerns by saying that young male car insurance holders often act in an over-confident manner when accompanied by attractive women. Apparently many will show off by breaking the speed limit and tailgating other motorists.
David Moxon, a leading psychologist, said, "Throughout evolution men have always flaunted their sexual prowess to attract a female and so it makes sense that they view driving as a chance to catch the attention of a mate.
"It's also interesting that previous studies have also shown that women rate men as more attractive if they drive a higher status car."
Young drivers have been reminded that they can significantly reduce their chances of having accidents by taking a pass plus course. Many insurance for car providers will be more willing to offer cheap policies to motorists who have had additional training.
