More choice for Irish motorists with new online car insurance service
Irish drivers will have even more choice of online car insurance quotes following the launch of a web-based service from the Allied Irish Bank (AIB).
AIB has teamed up with Hibernian General Insurance to offer motorists a first class service and cheap car insurance policies with a range of value-adding extras.
A standard policy bought through AIB would include windscreen cover and breakdown assistance, as well as replacement car cover.
Those drivers who have a safe driving record, with fewer than 2 penalty points on their licence and an intact four year no claims bonus, will find that they will get a particularly good deal with AIB Car Insurance.
Alan Holmes, from AIB, said: "We are delighted to announce the launch of AIB Car Insurance online.
"We have developed a 'best in class' offering that harnesses the power of the web and positions AIB as one of Ireland's leading online insurance providers."
