Online car insurance sites sign up for PPC ads on Yell.com
Online car insurance companies are taking advantage of Yell.com's decision to allow pay per click (PPC) advertising on its site.
Both American Express motor insurance and Swiftcover.com have signed up for adverts in Yell.com's online car insurance directory.
The listings site, which recently underwent major redevelopment, has opened up PPC advertising to any company which offers a nationwide service. These adverts will then be displayed when visitors search for a service across a wide or unspecified area.
Companies wishing to advertise on Yell.com with PPC ads can select a specific frequency and duration for their advert to be included in results. This tailored service thus caters for both small and large companies with their respective budgets.
A spokesperson for Yell.com said: "The new product range makes it easy for national advertisers to reach Yell.com users.
"In today's marketplace, businesses need demonstrable return on investment for their communications campaigns."
