Price comparison site extends range to include online car insurance
uSwitch.com has announced that is extending its range of financial services to include online car insurance.
The company has already enjoyed widespread popularity for its price comparisons for utilities such as gas and electricity, as well as deals on mobile phones, credit cards and loans.
However, it hopes to further this achievement with the addition of an online car insurance service, which will allow UK drivers to compare motor insurance quotes quickly and easily.
A spokesperson for uSwitch.com said: "The personal finance channel has been a huge success for uSwitch.com since it launched in 2004 and motor insurance, as the largest general insurance product in the UK, was the natural next step for the progression of the service.
"With more than 80 active insurers operating in this market, coupled with the many key developments including initiatives such as pay-as-you-drive for younger drivers, the market can be extremely overwhelming for consumers."
